Green Futures

The Green Futures Foundation is a non-profit organization that partners with local restaurants to recycle waste vegetable oil into clean burning biodiesel which is used to fuel local community vehicles. Proceeds from this fund raising activity are used to fund local green education programs and scholarships for students interested in studying renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living topics.

Green Futures Foundation process

Food service providers can receive a large tax deduction (up to $1.00+ per gallon) at the end of the year for their waste cooking oil donation. We strive to help restaurants make their operations greener–while saving them a significant amount of money.

By choosing to partner with us, restaurants agree to donate their waste vegetable oil to the foundation in return for FREE collection services and tax forms stating the amount of gallons donated. Many restaurants can receive up to a $5000 annual tax deduction.
