There are six official sponsors of LCOY CANADA this year, including GreenFutures, Mingde College, Global Youth Philanthropy, Vancouver Davis College, Human and Nature Youth Club, UBC Faculty of Forestry Asia Forest Research Centre. The Climate Youth Branch, successfully held at the Richmond Aberdeen Center last Saturday, was co-sponsored by GreenFutures and Mingde College.
LCOY CANADA is a conference for youth ages 15-35 to participate in keynote speeches, workshops, presentations, and panel discussions surrounding the themes of each year. By attending the conference youth will be able to voice the future you want to live in and it will be shared directly with the United Nations. We are inviting all youth (ages 15-35) and youth entities to come to LCOY CANADA to listen, learn, and have a voice in their future.
“Together, we will prioritize efforts to accelerate emissions reductions through a pragmatic energy transition, reform land use, and transform food systems. We will work to mobilize solutions for vulnerable countries, operationalize loss and damage, and deliver an inclusive Conference“
